USFIN Atelier X MAILLOT
With the continuation of @maillot.ofc ‘In Motion’ collaboration series, USFIN had the opportunity to talk more about our salon whilst showcasing our team members drapped in garments from Maillot —
USFIN ATELIER started in 2016 and is a genderless salon based in Sydney, who is also apart of Assort International Hair Salon Group (@assort.hair ) currently having salons worldwide including Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong and Amsterdam.
Community and culture is an important aspect for USFIN ATELIER. @usfinatelier strives to contribute more to the genderless community in order to promote the genderless concept of beauty. USFIN ATELIER states “We want to create a safer place for the genderless community. A lot of the time people go to a salon and they can feel intimidated. We always want to create a space that is welcoming for all genders or the preference of the style. Whoever you are, we want you to be who you are.”

The biggest inspiration for USFIN ATELIER is fashion. In regards to this aspect, they get inspired by texture, the material, the silhouette, and the brand identity as well. Also the culture coming from fashion too is quite important and significant to them.
For @usfinatelier , their goal is to be able to focus on the people in their team and to focus on how everyone can grow to become a more successful hair designer. Essentially, making everyone in their team the best hair stylist; to become the top hair designer internationally, not only in Australia. The biggest goal for USFIN ATELIER is to develop everyone and to elevate everyone in their team. It is vital that every single person grows as a person to find their ultimate goal in their life as well.
