GAN's First In-Person Seminar in Sydney

Monday marked a major milestone for GAN as we proudly hosted our very first in-person seminar in Sydney, Australia. Hairdressers, apprentices, and educators from across the city gathered for a day dedicated not only to learning and skill-building, but also to inspiration, connection, and creative exchange.

The seminar offered a deep dive into the philosophy behind GAN, followed by hands-on demonstrations and insightful discussions. Our stylists shared their unique approach to intuitive hair design, a method that blends creativity with technical precision, guided by the natural movement and individuality of each client’s hair.

The highlight of the day featured two live model transformations, showcasing bold cuts, creative bleach techniques, and vibrant, expressive colour work. These looks weren’t just visually impactful, they embodied the essence of wearable, real-world hair. From dry cutting methods to efficient salon-ready styling, our team demonstrated what intuitive design looks like in action.
