HAIR SEMINAR COLLABORATION : USFIN ATELIER/CABELO CULTURE/ULTRA FADE/TAO OF HAIR

Middle of last year, our team had a very exciting day together with 3 other amazing Australian salon! We did a cross education seminar with Cabelo Culture, Ultra Fade by Rich and all the way from Perth, Tao of Hair. During the day we went to No.101 Studio in Rosebery, a studio space run by Sue and Elvio from Cabelo Culture.

The day started with all of the salons introducing their team members with each other, sharing their salon culture, signature service with each other. Then, we started it off strong with Sue from Cabelo Culture who did an amazing cut on their model, Tutti. It was such an amazing experience to see Sue in her craft and seeing her technique of cutting hair.

Paye from Tao of Hair also did an amazing hair painting recreating Starry Night by Van Gogh on her model Sarah, while Daniel from Tao of Hair did his signature pixel colours on his model Chanel which was so cool to witness in person !

Then, from USFIN, Daniel and Koji did a demo of our signature wolf cut and a shaggy wolf with face framing layers. Daniel shared his way of cutting hair, how he sections and take weights of the hair using shirring scissors. Koji also shared how he does his cut and his technique. It was such a wonderful experience to see so many passionate hairdressers asking questions about how we cut and do hair at USFIN to achieve these amazing silhouettes and textures.

Not only that, we also get to see Justin from Ultra Fade doing his amazing signature skin fade on his model and Rich doing his signature dimensional toning !

It was truly such a wonderful and fun environment to be in, being with so many passionate and talented hairdresser in the same room and sharing their knowledge to each other. We can’t wait to do more of this in the future ! We also made a short vlog of our day, you can watch it here !
